أَهْلًا وَسَهْلًا ومَرْحَبًا

Unless stated otherwise, this is the homepage of Andrew Naguib.

I am currently a graduate student at the Combinatorics and Optimization Department at the University of Waterloo. I am working under the supervision of Prof. Walaa Moursi on Monotone Operator Theory1.

I am available via email at the decoded address from base64 --decode <<< "bmRyd25hZ3VpYkBnbWFpbC5jb20=".

I graduated in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in computer science. I later worked on approximately solving (NP-hard) combinatorial optimization problems using deep graph nets, under the direction of Prof. Waleed Yousef.

Parts of this website are still being compiled.

I am trying to make a–late and uneasy, but desirable–shift into mathematics (it seems possible). I also hope to study, more seriously, formal logic, homotopy type theory, and descriptive set theory.

I maintain this webpage using Org mode version 9.7.2 and magit version 20250219.2325 (commit id #0cd9876) on Emacs 29 and gnu/linux; the philosophy of its design is minimalism.
